Krypton German Shepherds

I have been in love with the German Shepherd Dog all of my life. Went out and purchased my first one, one week after moving into our new home. "JJ" was my most trusted friend and companion. He wasn't a registered show dog, just the first of many to share my life. It wasn't long after that I got the show bug and purchased my second German Shepherd "Rocky" from a local breeder. My first experiences in the show ring confirmed that I didn't have what it takes to work inside the ring, but boy was I great on the outside...

It is through my love for German Shepherds and the show ring, that I first met Ann Marie Leadbeater of Grunfeld German Shepherds.

We became close friends and she has been teaching me more and more every day. Topics that include, handling German shepherd Dogs, breeding, training of different types, and so much more. A mentor is what she is to me, and I wouldn't be here today without her.

I purchased my first Champion Show Dog from Ann Marie's bloodlines in 1998 and have been hooked since. "Jasper" went on to achieve his CKC Championship , and was a wonderful addition to our family.

And the rest as they say is history!!

My love for the German Shepherd Dog, had lead me to many obedience, aggression, training and breeding seminars over the years.

I try to keep up with the new training tecniques, and keep updating myself all the time.

October 2007 found me with my mentor and new friend to the breed, off to St. Louis, Missouri to attend the North American Sieger Show. I will not look at things the same ever again. It was a tremendous experience for me and was fun too.

October 2008 found me on the road again to Florence, Kentucky to attend the Worlds Schuthund Competition, wow, again unlike anything I had ever seen before.

In 1998, I began boarding dogs under the name "Kylu Kennel"

We provide a safe and happy environment for these dogs to relax and enjoy their vacation, just as their human families are. We walk individually every day, as well as letting the compatible dogs play together, if that is what they are accustomed to at home.

My showing and breeding is more of a passion than a hobby, as I have a real job as well, which of course involves dogs.

Since 2003, I have been the Animal Control Officer for the Municipality of the District of Chester. This job is always teaching me new things about dog behavior.

In March 2009 I attened a Bylaw Enforcement Conference, which also brings us up to date with safety when handling these dogs that are not always nice, as no two cases are the same. I am in the position to reunite families with their lost pets.

I have the contacts and resources to re-home dogs if this becomes necessary. With this job I have also learned a great deal in dealing with the public and irritated pet owners.

I breed the "German Style" dogs. If you have been looking into adding a german shepherd dog, or german shepherd puppy to your family please contact us and come by, we love to talk dogs. All of our puppies are brought up in our home with myself and my children, this insures you will recieve a well balanced and socialized puppy.
